ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

ASSOCIATE CATEGORIES - Eligible associate products or services must be provided and marketed in NJ from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 by an associate member in good standing of the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey. Entry Fee $125

REALTOR MILLION DOLLAR CLUB & SALES CIRCLE OF HONOR CLUB—Eligible sales people whose dollar volume of executed agreements of sale between January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. Entry Fee $40

LEASING EXCELLENCE CLUB—Eligible sales people whose volume of executed lease agreements between January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 exceeds 20 Units. Entry Fee $40

INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Rookie of the Year, Realtor of the Year, Broker of the Year, Salesperson of the Year, Sales Team of the Year, Sales Manager of the Year, Marketing Director of the Year, Property Manager of the Year, Leasing Agent of the Year. Entry Fee $125

ENTRIES—A separate entry form must be submitted for each category entered. Each entry will qualify for one category only.  See judging criteria and submission requirements for each category.  Entries will not be eligible for judging until payment is received.  You will be billed separately once your submission(s) is/are received.

ENTRY MATERIALS—Please include all items required for submission. Incomplete submissions will be disqualified.  All entry materials will become the property of the SBACNJ and will not be returned.

JUDGING—Each entry will be judged on its merits by a panel of qualified judges who are recognized for their expertise in homebuilding. Builders, Realtors, Architects, Merchandisers and Advertising Executives from outside our market area and without conflict of interest will participate as judges. Judges evaluate each entry on its own merits. In the event judges determine that an entry is not up to their standards for award recognition, no award will be presented in that category, even if only one entry is received. Conversely, if an entry is deemed award worthy, but does not fit a specific category, judges may elect to designate it as a FAME winner in a specialized category. In all instances, the decision of the judges is final.

Judging Criteria: Overall design, theme and appropriateness for target market.

Submission Requirements: One logo image in .jpeg format

403 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER SIGNAGE -

Judging Criteria: Design, creativity, readability and appropriateness for target market.

Submission Requirements: One image showing main signage. (jpeg preferred).

404 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER BILLBOARD

Judging Criteria: Overall design, concept, copy, layout and appropriateness for target market.

Submission Requirements: Image of billboard and where the billboard is located.

405 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER PRINT AD – BLACK & WHITE

Judging Criteria: Overall design, concept, copy, layout and appropriateness for target market.

Submission Requirements: Copy of ad and include what publication the ad was run in and when.

Judging Criteria: Overall design, concept, copy, layout and appropriateness for target market.

407 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER AD - DIGITAL

Judging Criteria: Overall design, concept, copy, layout and appropriateness for target market.

Submission Requirements: Copy of ad.

408 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER WEBSITE

Judging Criteria: Technical production, design, user experience, content, site navigation and overall creativity.

Submission Requirements: Website address, desktop and mobile versions will be considered. 

409 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER CORPORATE FACEBOOK PAGE

Judging Criteria: Overall creativity, consistence of postings, and interaction with fans.

Submission Requirements: Facebook page url.

410 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER DIRECT MAIL PIECE

Judging Criteria: Design, creativity, concept and appropriateness to target market.

Submission Requirements: Images of flyer, brochure, letter, etc., disseminated by mail. Marketing statement explaining the goals, target market, and results.

411 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER EMAIL PROMOTION

Judging Criteria: Sales approach, effectiveness of message, creativity, technical production, readability and results.

Submission Requirements:  Digital image of the entry or url. (eg: screen shot ). Optional; if email promotion contained interactive graphics or links, the email may be posted online and provide web address to view promotion. Marketing statement explaining the goals, target market and results.

412 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING STRATEGY

Judging Criteria: Creativity of strategy specifically related for target market, marketing difficulties, goals and results.

Submission Requirements: Completed Marketing Strategy Form (it is imperative all three questions are answered).

413 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER MARKETING STRATEGY

Judging Criteria: Creativity of strategy specifically related for target market, marketing difficulties, goals and results.

Submission Requirements: Completed Marketing Strategy Form (it is imperative all three questions are answered). Do not mention name of Builder or Community. 

414 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Judging Criteria: Creativity, effectiveness, place of exposure, writing and overall impact.

Submission Requirements: Elements of the themed campaign as presented by utilizing social media. 

415 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER SPECIAL PROMOTION/EVENT

Judging Criteria: Design, concept creativity of materials developed for a special promotion of a pre-sale, grand opening or other limited marketing campaign.

Submission Requirements: Written description, 500 words or less, of the nature of the promotion, its goals and results. Supporting materials may include ads, flyers, mailers, photos or other collateral material. 

416 BEST SHOWROOM

Judging Criteria: Traffic flow, presentation of information, selections and theme of environment.

Submission Requirements: Three images of your choice and image of the design center floor plan giving dimensions. 

417 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER CORPORATE OFFICE ENVIRONMENT

Judging Criteria: Creativity, traffic flow, effectiveness.

Submission Requirements: Written description of how the office environment impacts business. Include photos of the office. 

418 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER BUSINESS CARD

Judging Criteria: Overall design, concept, layout and appropriateness for target market.

Submission Requirements: Image of original card. Describe target market in 25 words or less. 

419 BEST ASSOCIATE MEMBER COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Judging Criteria: Impact on the community.

Submission Requirements: Provide photos of any special events and description of what your organization is doing and what community programs you are working with.

 

INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Submission Requirements: Complete a statement in 500 words or less, explaining how nominee qualifies by meeting judging criteria for the award indicated plus any pertinent additional comments. 5 x 7 photo of nominee (high resolution photo). Entry Fee of $125 is required.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Nominees must be in their current position on or after January 1, 2023.

Judging Criteria:

· Achievement of set goals

· Areas of responsibility (marketing, training, processing, management, sales)

· Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism

· Level of growth achieved during first year in that position

REALTOR ASSOCIATE OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate. Achievement of set goals for number of sales, volume of sales and closing ratios. Other areas of responsibility (marketing, training, processing, management, etc.) in addition to sales. Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Realtor “Spirit”, Local Board and State Association activities, business accomplishments. Community services and involvement and/or Humanitarian services. Difficulties encountered in selling the product and how they were overcome.

BROKER OF THE YEAR  

Judging Criteria: Licensed Realtor Areas of responsibility (marketing, training, processing, management, etc.) Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Local Board, State and National Association activities, business accomplishments, Community services and involvement and/or Humanitarian services.

SALES PERSON OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Achievement of set goals for number of sales, volume of sales. Other areas of responsibility (marketing, training, processing, management, etc.) in addition to sales. Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Difficulties encountered in selling the product and how they were overcome.

SALES TEAM OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Achievement of set goals for number of sales, volume of sales. Other areas of responsibility (marketing, training, processing, management, etc.) in addition to sales. Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Difficulties encountered in selling the product and how they were overcome.

SALES MANAGER OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Ability to manage and train sales personnel. Personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Difficulties encountered in selling the product and how they were overcome.

MARKETING DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Development and implementation of marketing policy including market research, product development, marketing plan, merchandising and advertising. Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Difficulties encountered in marketing the product and how they were overcome.

PROPERTY MANAGER OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Ability to manage and successfully interact with tenants and train personnel. Personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Difficulties encountered in this position and how they were overcome.

LEASING AGENT OF THE YEAR

Judging Criteria: Achievement of set goals for number of units leased, volume of rentals and closing ratios. Other areas of responsibility (marketing, training, processing, management, etc.) in addition to rentals. Special personal qualities which enhance professionalism. Difficulties encountered in leasing the product and how they were overcome.

REALTOR MILLION DOLLAR CLUB & SALES CIRCLE OF HONOR

REALTOR MILLION DOLLAR CLUB

Sales of $1 – 2,499,999 = Bronze

Sales of $2.5 – 4,999,999= Silver

Sales of $5 – 7,499,999 = Gold

Sales of $7.5 million & over= Platinum

Recognition will be given to realtors whose contracted dollar volume totaled the above numbers from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 for all sales in NJ.

Submission Requirements: REALTOR MILLION DOLLAR CLUB FORM, together with one electronic (hi-res .jpeg) photo. 

LEASING EXCELLENCE CLUB

Recognition will be given to salespeople who execute 20 or more rental agreements between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 for rentals in NJ.

Submission Requirements:  LEASING EXCELLENCE CLUB FORM together with one electronic (hi-res .jpeg) photo.

SALES CIRCLE OF HONOR

Recognition will be given to sales people whose sales volume is over $500,000 between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

Submission Requirements:  SALES CIRCLE OF HONOR FORM together with one electronic (hi-res .jeg) photo.

OPTIONS/UPGRADES SALES 

Recognition will be presented to salespeople who exclusively sell options and upgrades totalling $100,000 or more between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 for new homes built in NJ by SBACNJ Builder members in good standing.

Submission Requirements:  OPTIONS/UPGRADES SALES FORM together with one electronic (hi-res. jpeg) photo.
